Penny Mordaunt MP - Honorary President
Penny Mordaunt was appointed Minister of State for Department for Work and Pensions on 15 July 2016. She was elected Conservative MP for Portsmouth North in 2010. Penny was born in Torquay, Devon. She was educated at Oaklands RC Comprehensive School and at Reading University where she read Philosophy. Penny worked for Conservative Central Office, becoming Head of Broadcasting under William Hague. In 2000 she served as Head of Foreign Press for George W. Bush’s presidential election campaign. In Parliament, Penny served on the European Scrutiny Committee, Defence Select Committee, and as chairman of the APPGs for Life Science and for Ageing and Older People. In autumn 2013 she was appointed Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Secretary of State for Defence, Rt Hon. Philip Hammond MP. She served as Minister of State for the Armed Forces from May 2015 until July 2016. She is currently the only female who is a Royal Naval Reservist in the House of Commons. Penny worked as an aid worker in post-revolutionary Romania before and during university. She was director of communications at Kensington & Chelsea Council and the Freight Transport Association and was a director of Diabetes UK, the Community Fund and the Big Lottery Fund. In 2004 Penny founded a media company, which she sold in 2010
As a minister her responsibilities include:
- Cross-government disability issues
- Disability employment
- Support for those at risk of falling out of work, including Fit for Work and Statutory Sick Pay
- Financial support for sick and disabled claimants
- Specific welfare and health-related issues, including Motability and oversight of the Health and Safety Executive

Mike Kendrick - Chairman
Mike was previously Speakers Secretary and took over as Chairman from James Melrose, a senior partner at Glanvilles Solicitors.
Mike is a banking professional and has worked for Barclays Bank for around 35 years. He is currently a Business Manager looking after Petersfield, Waterlooville, Midhurst and Haslemere branches. Mike works with SME's and is keen to stress that when his customers are successful so is he!
Mike has a rather unique style as Chairman and always looks to find the lighter side wherever possible.

Neil Hawkins - Deputy Chairman
As deputy chairman, Neil takes up the reigns when Chairman Mike is unavailable or busy in the bank counting his money.
Neil is a Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer specialising in the survey and valuation of residential and commercial property in South Hampshire. He is a director of Chandler Hawkins and set up the business in 1993 having been working in the area since 1980.
He is secretary of Portsmouth Property Association (PPA) and has the important task of organising the annual golf challenge between surveyors and lawyers. Interests include sport and politics. As a former football referee and season ticket holder at Fratton Park, members will always be welcome to join the "football table" at meetings.

Marie-Alice Slavov - Secretary
Marie is a Solicitor at Blake Morgan LLP and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). She specialises in the administration of estates, probate work and intestacies and inheritance tax. Marie has a keen interest in cross-border estates. She originally qualified in France as an Avocat in 2004 before joining Blake Morgan in 2005 and becoming a Solicitor in 2011. Marie's interests are classical music and singing in a choir as a soprano, skiing and cooking for family and friends

Lance Terry - Speakers Secretary
Lance has one of the most difficult jobs at the club namely finding topical and interesting speakers. He always manages to source exactly the right people to inform and to entertain.
Lance is a Partner at Glanvilles, he specialises in company and commercial work and advises on various aspects of intellectual property, particularly trade marks and copyright, with an emphasis on the IT industry.
Lance originally qualified and practised for a number of years as an attorney in South Africa before moving to the UK in early 2000 to work in London. Lance has wide experience of dealing with corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and management buy outs. He has particular expertise in advising on directors' duties and related company law issues.
On the commercial side Lance has advised on a variety of commercial agreements such as agency, distribution and franchise agreements as well as a range of IT related agreements including outsourcing, software development and IP licensing agreements. Lance is a fellow of the International Bar Association and a member of the Licensing Executives Society and the Society for Computers and Law. Jenny Francis - Treasurer
Jenny Francis is a finance professional of many years standing.. She has worked for HSBC and Clydesdale banks as a relationship manager in the past and is currently a Business Development Manager in Commercial & Private Banking with RBS Invoice Finance. She undertakes her role as our treasurer with tact and good humour.
