All about the South East Hampshire Business Lunch Club

portsmouthyacht

The Lunch Club was established in 1994 to provide the business and professional community in the local area with a means through which business contacts could be made and developed to everyone's advantage and to provide speakers on a range of topics relevant to small and medium sized businesses.

Our aim is to inform and entertain. We are not a networking club as such- no one has to stand up and give a 'pitch' (except the speaker of course!) but regular attendance will ensure that you get to meet many local business and professional people in an informal and relaxed setting.

The Committee all feel that our friendly atmosphere is one of the main reasons that we continue to thrive and grow and are now one of the longest established clubs in the area.

When and where does the club meet?

The Club meets every second Friday, except in the summer months, at the Quayside, Portsmouth Harbour Yacht Club (Pictured above).

Meetings start at 12:30 (although many members arrive at midday for a pre meeting drink and a chat). We aim to finish promptly at 2pm, but you are welcome to stay longer if you can.

How do I become a member?

There is no membership fee as such. We operate a 'pay as you go' system at a cost of £15 per meeting to include a really good buffet lunch.

So how do you become a member? In common with the whole ethos of the club this is easy. Just email our speakers secretary Lance Terry and he will add you to the email invitation list.

Do I need to Book? Yes please! A response to our email invitation will book you a place so that we can be sure of numbers for catering purposes. Google Map of the Venue
